recordFormat

SourceSchema.Builder recordFormat(RecordFormat recordFormat)

Specifies the format of the records on the streaming source.

Parameters:

recordFormat - Specifies the format of the records on the streaming source.

Returns:

Returns a reference to this object so that method calls can be chained together.

recordFormat

default SourceSchema.Builder recordFormat(Consumer<RecordFormat.Builder> recordFormat)

Specifies the format of the records on the streaming source.

This is a convenience method that creates an instance of the RecordFormat.Builder avoiding the need to create one manually via RecordFormat.builder().

When the Consumer completes, SdkBuilder.build() is called immediately and its result is passed to recordFormat(RecordFormat).

Parameters:

recordFormat - a consumer that will call methods on RecordFormat.Builder

Returns:

Returns a reference to this object so that method calls can be chained together.
