Class HadoopStepConfig
- All Implemented Interfaces:
- Serializable,- SdkPojo,- ToCopyableBuilder<HadoopStepConfig.Builder,- HadoopStepConfig>
A cluster step consisting of a JAR file whose main function will be executed. The main function submits a job for Hadoop to execute and waits for the job to finish or fail.

Method Details-
jarThe path to the JAR file that runs during the step. - Returns:
- The path to the JAR file that runs during the step.

-
hasPropertiespublic final boolean hasProperties()For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the Properties property. This DOES NOT check that the value is non-empty (for which, you should check theisEmpty()method on the property). This is useful because the SDK will never return a null collection or map, but you may need to differentiate between the service returning nothing (or null) and the service returning an empty collection or map. For requests, this returns true if a value for the property was specified in the request builder, and false if a value was not specified.
-
propertiesThe list of Java properties that are set when the step runs. You can use these properties to pass key-value pairs to your main function. Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException. This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the hasProperties()method.- Returns:
- The list of Java properties that are set when the step runs. You can use these properties to pass key-value pairs to your main function.

-
mainClassThe name of the main class in the specified Java file. If not specified, the JAR file should specify a main class in its manifest file. - Returns:
- The name of the main class in the specified Java file. If not specified, the JAR file should specify a main class in its manifest file.

-
hasArgspublic final boolean hasArgs()For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the Args property.
-
argsThe list of command line arguments to pass to the JAR file's main function for execution. Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException. This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the hasArgs()method.- Returns:
- The list of command line arguments to pass to the JAR file's main function for execution.

equalsBySdkFieldsDescription copied from interface:SdkPojoIndicates whether some other object is "equal to" this one by SDK fields. An SDK field is a modeled, non-inherited field in anSdkPojoclass, and is generated based on a service model. If an SdkPojoclass does not have any inherited fields, equalsBySdkFieldsandequalsare essentially the same.- Specified by:
- equalsBySdkFieldsin interface- SdkPojo
- Parameters:
- obj- the object to be compared with
- Returns:
- true if the other object equals to this object by sdk fields, false otherwise.
