Enum ExecutionContext

java.lang.Object
java.lang.Enum<ExecutionContext>
software.amazon.awssdk.enhanced.dynamodb.ExecutionContext
All Implemented Interfaces:
Serializable, Comparable<ExecutionContext>

@SdkProtectedApi public enum ExecutionContext extends Enum<ExecutionContext>
Execution context used internally during table schema creation to track whether a schema is being created for a root entity or a flattened nested object.
  • Enum Constant Details

    • ROOT

      public static final ExecutionContext ROOT
      Indicates schema creation for a top-level entity that will be directly used with DynamoDB operations. Enables schema caching for performance optimization.
    • FLATTENED

      public static final ExecutionContext FLATTENED
      Indicates schema creation for a nested object marked with @DynamoDbFlatten. Bypasses caching to prevent conflicts and infinite recursion during flattened object processing.
  • Method Details

      Parameters:
      name - the name of the enum constant to be returned.
      Returns:
      the enum constant with the specified name
      Throws:
      IllegalArgumentException - if this enum type has no constant with the specified name
      NullPointerException - if the argument is null
