Class RegexMatchSet
- All Implemented Interfaces:
Serializable,SdkPojo,ToCopyableBuilder<RegexMatchSet.Builder,RegexMatchSet>
This is AWS WAF Classic documentation. For more information, see AWS WAF Classic in the developer guide.
For the latest version of AWS WAF, use the AWS WAFV2 API and see the AWS WAF Developer Guide. With the latest version, AWS WAF has a single set of endpoints for regional and global use.
In a GetRegexMatchSet request, RegexMatchSet is a complex type that contains the
RegexMatchSetId and Name of a RegexMatchSet, and the values that you specified
when you updated the RegexMatchSet.
The values are contained in a RegexMatchTuple object, which specify the parts of web requests that you
want AWS WAF to inspect and the values that you want AWS WAF to search for. If a RegexMatchSet contains
more than one RegexMatchTuple object, a request needs to match the settings in only one
ByteMatchTuple to be considered a match.

regexMatchSetId
The
RegexMatchSetIdfor aRegexMatchSet. You useRegexMatchSetIdto get information about aRegexMatchSet(see GetRegexMatchSet), update aRegexMatchSet(see UpdateRegexMatchSet), insert aRegexMatchSetinto aRuleor delete one from aRule(see UpdateRule), and delete aRegexMatchSetfrom AWS WAF (see DeleteRegexMatchSet).RegexMatchSetIdis returned by CreateRegexMatchSet and by ListRegexMatchSets.- Returns:

-
name
A friendly name or description of the RegexMatchSet. You can't change
Nameafter you create aRegexMatchSet.- Returns:
- A friendly name or description of the RegexMatchSet. You can't change
Nameafter you create aRegexMatchSet.
-
hasRegexMatchTuples
public final boolean hasRegexMatchTuples()For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the RegexMatchTuples property. This DOES NOT check that the value is non-empty (for which, you should check theisEmpty()method on the property). This is useful because the SDK will never return a null collection or map, but you may need to differentiate between the service returning nothing (or null) and the service returning an empty collection or map. For requests, this returns true if a value for the property was specified in the request builder, and false if a value was not specified. -
regexMatchTuples
Contains an array of RegexMatchTuple objects. Each
RegexMatchTupleobject contains:-
The part of a web request that you want AWS WAF to inspect, such as a query string or the value of the
User-Agentheader. -
The identifier of the pattern (a regular expression) that you want AWS WAF to look for. For more information, see RegexPatternSet.
-
Whether to perform any conversions on the request, such as converting it to lowercase, before inspecting it for the specified string.
Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.
This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the
hasRegexMatchTuples()method.- Returns:

toBuilder
Description copied from interface:ToCopyableBuilderTake this object and create a builder that contains all of the current property values of this object.- Specified by:

- a builder for type T

equalsBySdkFields
Description copied from interface:SdkPojoIndicates whether some other object is "equal to" this one by SDK fields. An SDK field is a modeled, non-inherited field in anSdkPojoclass, and is generated based on a service model. If an
SdkPojoclass does not have any inherited fields, equalsBySdkFieldsandequalsare essentially the same.- Specified by:
equalsBySdkFieldsin interfaceSdkPojo- Parameters:
obj- the object to be compared with- Returns:
- true if the other object equals to this object by sdk fields, false otherwise.
