Method Details
-
subscriptionName
The name of the subscription.
Constraints: The name must be less than 255 characters.
- Returns:
- The name of the subscription.
Constraints: The name must be less than 255 characters.
-
snsTopicArn
The Amazon Resource Name (ARN) of the SNS topic created for event notification. The ARN is created by Amazon SNS when you create a topic and subscribe to it.
- Returns:
- The Amazon Resource Name (ARN) of the SNS topic created for event notification. The ARN is created by Amazon SNS when you create a topic and subscribe to it.
-
sourceType
The type of source that is generating the events. For example, if you want to be notified of events generated by a DB instance, you would set this parameter to db-instance. if this value is not specified, all events are returned.
Valid values:
db-instance|db-cluster|db-parameter-group|db-security-group|db-snapshot|db-cluster-snapshot- Returns:

hasEventCategories
public final boolean hasEventCategories()For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the EventCategories property. This DOES NOT check that the value is non-empty (for which, you should check theisEmpty()method on the property). This is useful because the SDK will never return a null collection or map, but you may need to differentiate between the service returning nothing (or null) and the service returning an empty collection or map. For requests, this returns true if a value for the property was specified in the request builder, and false if a value was not specified. -
eventCategories
A list of event categories for a SourceType that you want to subscribe to. You can see a list of the categories for a given SourceType by using the DescribeEventCategories action.
Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.
This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the
hasEventCategories()method.- Returns:
- A list of event categories for a SourceType that you want to subscribe to. You can see a list of the categories for a given SourceType by using the DescribeEventCategories action.
-
hasSourceIds
public final boolean hasSourceIds()For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the SourceIds property. -
sourceIds
The list of identifiers of the event sources for which events are returned. If not specified, then all sources are included in the response. An identifier must begin with a letter and must contain only ASCII letters, digits, and hyphens; it can't end with a hyphen or contain two consecutive hyphens.
Constraints:
-
If SourceIds are supplied, SourceType must also be provided.
-
If the source type is a DB instance, then a
DBInstanceIdentifiermust be supplied. -
If the source type is a DB security group, a
DBSecurityGroupNamemust be supplied. -
If the source type is a DB parameter group, a
DBParameterGroupNamemust be supplied. -
If the source type is a DB snapshot, a
DBSnapshotIdentifiermust be supplied.
Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.
This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the
hasSourceIds()method.- Returns:
- The list of identifiers of the event sources for which events are returned. If not specified, then all
sources are included in the response. An identifier must begin with a letter and must contain only ASCII
letters, digits, and hyphens; it can't end with a hyphen or contain two consecutive hyphens.
Constraints:

-
If the source type is a DB instance, then a
DBInstanceIdentifiermust be supplied. -
If the source type is a DB security group, a
DBSecurityGroupNamemust be supplied. -
If the source type is a DB parameter group, a
DBParameterGroupNamemust be supplied. -
If the source type is a DB snapshot, a
DBSnapshotIdentifiermust be supplied.

-
enabled
A Boolean value; set to true to activate the subscription, set to false to create the subscription but not active it.
- Returns:
- A Boolean value; set to true to activate the subscription, set to false to create the subscription but not active it.
-
hasTags
public final boolean hasTags()For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the Tags property. -
tags
The tags to be applied to the new event subscription.
Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.
This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the
hasTags()method.- Returns:
- The tags to be applied to the new event subscription.
-
toBuilder
Description copied from interface:ToCopyableBuilderTake this object and create a builder that contains all of the current property values of this object.- Specified by:
toBuilderin interfaceToCopyableBuilder<CreateEventSubscriptionRequest.Builder,CreateEventSubscriptionRequest> - Specified by:
toBuilderin classNeptuneRequest- Returns:
- a builder for type T
-
builder
-
serializableBuilderClass
-
hashCode
public final int hashCode()- Overrides:
hashCodein classAwsRequest
-
equals
- Overrides:
equalsin classAwsRequest
-
equalsBySdkFields
Description copied from interface:SdkPojoIndicates whether some other object is "equal to" this one by SDK fields. An SDK field is a modeled, non-inherited field in anSdkPojoclass, and is generated based on a service model. If an
SdkPojoclass does not have any inherited fields, equalsBySdkFieldsandequalsare essentially the same.- Specified by:
equalsBySdkFieldsin interfaceSdkPojo- Parameters:
obj- the object to be compared with- Returns:
- true if the other object equals to this object by sdk fields, false otherwise.
-
toString
-
getValueForField
Description copied from class:SdkRequestUsed to retrieve the value of a field from any class that extendsSdkRequest. The field name specified should match the member name from the corresponding service-2.json model specified in the codegen-resources folder for a given service. The class specifies what class to cast the returned value to. If the returned value is also a modeled class, theSdkRequest.getValueForField(String, Class)method will again be available.- Overrides:
getValueForFieldin classSdkRequest- Parameters:
fieldName- The name of the member to be retrieved.clazz- The class to cast the returned object to.- Returns:
- Optional containing the casted return value
