retainRule

ArchiveRule.Builder retainRule(ArchiveRetainRule retainRule)

Information about the retention period for the snapshot archiving rule.

Parameters:

retainRule - Information about the retention period for the snapshot archiving rule.

Returns:

Returns a reference to this object so that method calls can be chained together.

retainRule

default ArchiveRule.Builder retainRule(Consumer<ArchiveRetainRule.Builder> retainRule)

Information about the retention period for the snapshot archiving rule.

This is a convenience method that creates an instance of the ArchiveRetainRule.Builder avoiding the need to create one manually via ArchiveRetainRule.builder().

When the Consumer completes, SdkBuilder.build() is called immediately and its result is passed to retainRule(ArchiveRetainRule).
